To schedule the return of your device, follow these steps:
- Go to 'Active Subscription'
- Select the device
- Select 'Return'
- Select your preferred return date.
To End Your Subscription:
- Before the Last Day of Your Term: Schedule your return within the last 30 days of your rental term. The return must occur within 5 working days after your term ends.
- If the device is returned later than the 5-day window, you will be charged on a pay-as-you-go basis for the following month.
- Your subscription will officially end once the device has been returned, inspected, and any applicable fees have been settled.
Example:
- Delivery Date: 01 January 2025
- Rental Term: 12 months
- Subscription End Date: 31 December 2025
Return Details:
- You can schedule your return anytime from 01 December 2025 to 31 December 2025.
- The return must occur within 5 working days after your term ends (by 05 January 2026).
- If the device is returned after 05 January 2026, you will be charged for January 2026 on a pay-as-you-go basis.
Key Return Guidelines:
- Back Up Your Data: Ensure that all data on the product is backed up. Cinch will not be liable for any data loss.
- Factory Reset: Ensure the device is reset to factory settings before returning it. Failure to do so will incur a $50 fee.
- Original Packaging: If the original packaging is not included, a $50 fee will be charged.
- Original Accessories: Charges for missing or damaged accessories will be based on current market retail prices.
- Device Condition: If the device is returned with damage, a diagnostic will be conducted. You will be notified of any required repairs and charged 10% of the repair cost.
- Water Damage: In cases of water damage, you will be responsible for the device’s retail value plus a 25% premium, minus the amount already paid.
- Secure Packaging: Ensure the device is sealed in secure packaging to prevent damage or loss during transit.
