- Purchase your device: Your buyout price is based on factors such as the device's original value, how long you've been subscribed, and the device's current value and condition. You can always view your current offer by logging in to your account.
- Return your device: If you decide to return it, you need to cancel your subscription within the last 27 days of your subscription term. Before the last date of your subscription term, you must schedule a return with us to occur within 5 working days of the last day of your term.
Key Return Guidelines (if returning the device):

- Original Accessories: Charges for missing or damaged accessories will be based on current market retail prices.
- Device Condition:
- Subscription before 1 October 2026: If the device is returned with damage, a diagnostic will be conducted. You will be notified of any required repairs and charged 10% of the repair cost.
- Subscription from 1 October 2026: Your repair fee depends on your service tier (Core, Cinch Plus, or Cinch Max). If the device is returned with damage, a diagnostic will be conducted and we'll confirm the applicable fee with you before any charge is made.
- Water Damage:
- Subscription before 1 October 2026: If water damage is detected on your device, it will be considered a buyout. This means you'll need to purchase the device. We'll confirm the exact amount with you once the device has been inspected.
- Subscription from 1 October 2026: Any damage, including water or liquid damage, will be assessed through the same diagnostic process as any other reported damage. We'll let you know the outcome and any applicable fee once the assessment is complete.
