This means that even in the event of accidental damage or technical malfunctions, you will only need to pay 10% of the repair fee, providing peace of mind and cost-effective support throughout the repair process.
Cinch Insurance Coverage:
- Technical Defects: Issues related to internal malfunctions and component failures.
- Cracked Displays: Damage resulting from accidental drops or impacts.
- Heavy or Unusual Wear and Tear: Significant signs of wear due to extended use beyond normal handling.
Important Notes:
- Repair Conditions: Cinch Insurance is applicable only if the product is returned directly to Cinch for repairs through our authorised repair partners.
- Third-Party Repairs: Repairs conducted by third-party service providers are strictly prohibited. Devices repaired by external parties will not be covered under Cinch Insurance, and you will be charged the retail value of the product plus a 25% premium, minus the amount you have paid to date.
*If our assessment determines that the product has sustained water damage or is deemed beyond repair due to serious damage, you will also be charged the retail value of the product plus a 25% premium, minus the total payments you have made.
How to Get Support:
1. Report the Damage:
- Notify our Customer Experience Team within 48 hours of discovering the damage or malfunction.
- Provide details about the issue, including photos or videos if possible.
- We will provide troubleshooting steps. If the issue persists, we will arrange collection of the device for inspection.
2. Arrange for Collection:
- Once we receive your report, we will arrange for your product to be collected from you for inspection.
- Before Collection, Please Follow These Steps:
- Back Up Your Data (if applicable): Ensure that all your important data is backed up, as the repair process will clear your device's data. Cinch will not be liable for any data loss during the repair process.
- Perform a Factory Reset: Reset the device to factory settings to remove your personal information and ensure a secure inspection process.
3. Device Assessment:
- The product will undergo a thorough diagnostic evaluation by our authorized repair partner to determine the extent of the damage.
4. Repair Fee:
- Based on the assessment, we will confirm the cost and charge you 10% of the total repair cost.
5. Device Repair and Return:
- Upon completion of the repair, our repair partner will perform a detailed inspection to confirm the product's full functionality.
- Once the repair is confirmed, we will issue an invoice for 10% of the repair fee for your payment.
- After your payment is received, we will coordinate the product's return and arrange for express delivery to you.
